Bodies of father and son removed to Kerry General Hospital

The bodies of the father and son found dead at a house in north Kerry this morning have been removed to Kerry General Hospital.

The bodies of the father and son found dead at a house in north Kerry this morning have been removed to Kerry General Hospital.

Assistant State Pathologist Margeret Bolster arrived at the scene in Moyvane this afternoon to carry out a preliminary examination of the remains.

Full post mortem examinations were scheduled to be carried out on the bodies in hospital

It is believed the men, who were aged 27 and 54, died as a result of gunshot wounds.
