Chairman of the Ambulance Association of Ireland is calling for better safety measures for its workers following the death of a paramedic in Cavan yesterday.

Chairman of the Ambulance Association of Ireland is calling for better safety measures for its workers following the death of a paramedic in Cavan yesterday.

Simon Sexton, 43, died after falling from the back of a moving ambulance while he was treating a patient just outside Cavan Town on the N3.

Three investigations are underway into the incident.
