There are almost 100 more patients waiting for beds in Irish hospitals today compared to yesterday's figure.

There are almost 100 more patients waiting for beds in Irish hospitals today compared to yesterday's figure.

Today's figures show that 533 patients are waiting on trolleys or in wards, up from 437.

The worst affected hospitals today are St Vincent's and Beaumont in Dublin with 45 and 43 respectively.

University Hospital Galway has 36 and Sligo Regional Hospital has 33, according to the INMO's Trolleywatch report.
