Aer Lingus flights cancelled because of US storm

A number of Aer Lingus flights to and from the US have been cancelled today because of a powerful storm there.

All of the airline's flights from the US have been cancelled - with the exception of the Chicago to Dublin route.

The 2pm flight from Dublin to Boston (EI 137) and the 15.45 flight from Dublin to New York (EI 109) have also been cancelled.

But the 10.45am flight (EI 105) from Dublin to New York and the 1pm flight from Dublin to Chicago (EI 125) will operate as normal.

Further disruption is also anticipated tomorrow when the storm along the north east coast of the US is expected to peak.

Passengers are advised to check with the airlines before travelling to the airport.
