AA Ireland: Vast majority of clamping appeals 'have no validity'

Less than 2% of Dublin drivers who were clamped last year got their money back on appeal.

New figures show a total of 56,000 vehicles were immobilised in 2013.

Out of just over 3,500 appeals, almost 2,600 were turned down.

However, AA Ireland's Conor Faughnan says most of those were chancing their arm.
