8,500 households are waking up without power this morning after a stormy night across the country.
ESB Networks are reporting faults in Sligo, Galway, Cavan, Dublin, Tipperary, Limerick, Wexford, Waterford and Cork.
The worst affected areas are in the south and south east of the country, but the ESB says there's also a big fault being reported to supply in north Leitrim this morning.
Branches falling on wires have caused lots of separate faults, right around the country.
Gardaí are also advising motorists to drive with extreme caution this morning as debris may be present on roads.
"We have had crews working light into the night and we have managed to restore quite a number of people already," said an ESB spokesperson.
"But the faults across the network are quite widespread, and the conditions are still quite bad, but we will be working to get all customers back by later today."
Waterford, Wexford and Tipperary were also hit with flooding as well as Cork - where parts of the city were left under two feet of water.
The City Council is to hold an emergency meeting this morning to discuss the latest floods.
