Up to 160 new jobs have been announced in the fish processing sector across the country.

Eighteen different fish processing companies have agreed to invest €7.5m upgrading their capacity.

In a separate announcement, the Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney has unveiled the details of a pilot jobs initiative for the Killybegs region of Co Donegal which is aimed at creating an additional 250 jobs in the area in the next three years.
