An investigation is underway following an aggravated burglary at the home of a 60-year-old man in Dublin last night.

An investigation is underway following an aggravated burglary at the home of a 60-year-old man in Dublin last night.

The incident happened Kearns Place in Kilmainham at around 4am when two men entered the premises.

The man was taken to St James's hospital in Dublin for treatment for minor injuries.

No arrested have been made.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
