Over 200 bags of rubbish have been collected from Portmarnock beach in Dublin this morning following the good weather period yesterday.

Over 200 bags of rubbish have been collected from Portmarnock beach in Dublin this morning following the good weather period yesterday.

Council staff are out on beaches since 6am gathering litter left by sunbathers.

Fingal County Council is advising people to bring their rubbish home if the bins are full.
