Almost 12,000 runners will take to the streets of Dublin tomorrow for the 29th Dublin City Marathon.

Almost 12,000 runners will take to the streets of Dublin tomorrow for the 29th Dublin City Marathon.

This year marks a change in the ratio of overseas-to-Irish runners.

In recent years, more than half the field has been comprised of overseas runners, but this year Irish entries make up 57% of the field.

A third of total entrants for tomorrow's run are women.
