Kylie Minogue has thanked fans after being reunited with Jason Donovan.

The stars performed together for the first time in 23 years singing 'Especially For You' last night and the 'Spinning Around' singer took to Twitter to speak of her excitement after the show.

She said: "'The entire audience sang along with us, thanks everyone. Amazing."

The duo - who also appeared together in Australian soap 'Neighbours' as Charlene and Scott - gave the highly anticipated performance at the Hit Factory Christmas Cracker Show at the O2 Arena in London.

Pete Waterman also took to the stage to unveil a tribute to the late Donna Summer sung by his new protégé James Graham and Sinitta wowed the audience with her performance of 'Toy Boy' which she sang in her underwear.

The last time the famous duo performed the hit track they were rumoured to be dating and Jason has since confirmed they were in a relationship to chat show host Piers Morgan.

He said: "She chased me and then I guess I gradually gave in. The next thing you know we were working and having this relationship.

"At the time it was great. We cemented it in a Sydney Travelodge. There were a number of promotional trips we would do each weekend and the Travelodge was the place."
