Kim on a promise

Kim Kardashian is reportedly wearing a promise ring from Kanye West.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star was spotted wearing a new gold ring with the rapper's initials during a promotional trip to London with her sister Kourtney yesterday amid rumours the couple have agreed to get engaged as soon as her divorce from Kris Humphries in finalised.

A source told USMagazine.com: "She thinks [she and Kanye] will get engaged and try for a baby once the divorce is final."

But the 32-year-old reality star is said to be happy to take her relationship with the 'Mercy' rapper slowly because she knows he is the one and has no desire to repeat the same mistake and rush up the aisle like she did with basketball star Kris last year.

An insider said: "After the backlash from ending her 72-day marriage with Kris, Kim would never get engaged until everything was properly handled. She and Kanye are taking their time. That's the truth."

Kim has been has been dating the 35-year-old rapper for around eight months and she says life with him is perfect.

She said: "It's so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you're going through. Being with someone I've known for so many years is comforting. He's been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely.

It's good to be aware that he definitely doesn't want anything from me too, because he understands the business.

"I can't even think about being with anyone else than the man I'm with."
