Daniel O’Donnell superfans, The Wee Daniels take to the Ireland’s Got Talent stage

Last week’s show saw BSD dance troupe from Swords get the Golden Buzzer from Jason Byrne - they join Sea of Change, an all-female choir made up of cancer survivors and supporters who are all straight through to the live shows.

This week, one group hoping to nab the remaining Golden Buzzer are, The Wee Daniels.

Finn Dolan (9), Robert Johnston (13), Jack O’Sullivan (12), Rian Sheridan (9) and David Rubotham (9) from Cavan will be paying tribute to the person they consider “ one Ireland’s greatest entertainers” – yes you’ve guessed it…Daniel O’Donnell.

They have the outfits, they have the signature moves, they have even mastered the Daniel ‘wink’.

We all started singing to all his songs and then we fell in love with him. We think it’s funny that all the grannies love him

the group say in their VT.

Nine-year-old Rian is the only member of the group to have met the singer and proudly boasts that he had a "chatter with him" before he got their photograph taken.

Their dream is to perform with Daniel himself - watch this space.
