'Young Einstein': 10-year-old in the UK recites Pi to 258 places

By Steve Neville

If you had appeared on 'Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old?', you wouldn't want to go up against Charley Thomas.

The 10-year-old from the UK has been dubbed "young Einstein" after breaking his own record by reciting Pi to 258 places.

It is believed he is the youngest British person ever to do it.

Charley recited Pi to 200 places in his school when he was invited on to ITV's Good Morning Britain to see if he could beat his record.

He aimed to hit 220, but smashed his personal best by going to 258 decimal places.

He told host Piers Morgan that he wants to go to university when he's older to study degrees in maths and computer science.
