You’ll never believe what this Irish politician put his face on

Well, this is new!

You’ll never believe what this Irish politician put his face on

Fine Gael Minster of State Simon Harris has come up with a rather unusual canvassing gift to entice potential voters.

Harris is running Wicklow and was one of three Fine Gael TDs elected in the five-seat constituency in 2011 - along with Andrew Doyle and Billy Timmins.

This morning 2FM broadcaster Rick O’Shea was given a surprise when the Harris themed item was handed to him through his car window.

Yes, they are wet wipes!

He wasn’t the only one to receive the Harris’ wet wipes, Tom Sheppard also tweeted a picture of them to broadsheet.ie.

These bring a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘cleaning up in the election’ (sorry).

If you think you’ve received something more unusual than this from a politician during this General Election campaign, let us know on Facebook or Twitter.
