WATCH: Passengers caught out by prankster at Dublin Airport

Passengers flying from Dublin Airport have been subject to a cruel (but hilarious) prank over the past few days.

In this new-age world where our phones, laptops and tablets are extensions of our hands, most of us are basically living life running from one power source to another.

And for those of us who download their flight details and boarding passes on our phones, battery power is quite essential when travelling.

So you can imagine flyers delight when they spot two free sockets hidden away on a wall in one of the airport's terminals.

Or are they?

It appears that a prankster has gone around the airport adding fake plug sockets stickers to the wall.

Thankfully, Dublin Airport provides several working power outlets throughout both terminals so passengers are never left stuck.
