Irish actress Jessie Buckley has been making waves worldwide for her performances as an artist and actress.
The Kerry native received rave reviews for her role on the big screen as Scottish country singer Rose-Lynn in the film 'Wild Rose'.
Most recently, Buckley starred in the hit series 'Chernobyl' co-produced by HBO and Sky as Lyudmilla Ignatenko, the wife of one of the first firefighters who attended the scene after the nuclear explosion.
Speaking about her role in the series, Buckley said: "I wasn’t born when it happened, but I grew up in Ireland and when I was at primary school there was a charity set up by Adi Roche for children affected by the explosion (Chernobyl Children International), they would come and live in Ireland for a year and go to my school."
