Dublin European election candidate Ben Gilroy has raised a lot of eyebrows as he and his "hurley stick" star in a viral campaign video.
Anti-eviction activist Gilroy takes aim at "state corruption", "constitution violations", "stealing wealth", "unlawful evictions" and national broadcaster RTÉ in the video which is nearly two-and-a-half minutes in length.
Last week, Mr Gilroy was in the High Court after he brought an action against the State broadcaster for excluding him in tonight's scheduled televised debate.

One eagle-eyed observer was unimpressed with the quality of the hurley.
At least throw a grip on the hurley so we know he didn't just buy it out of Lidl

Another questioned whether Mr Gilroy's policies were relevant for the office he is bidding for.
Incredible. He has no idea what an MEP does.

While others just enjoyed the rollercoaster that was this video.
This is amazing. 9/10 - point deducted for missing classic Micro helmet.

I hope he doesn't find out who didn't vote for him!
I can’t stop watching the last 3 seconds where he throws the hurl at his own poster and hurts himself
