VIDEO: Parents tell their kids they ate their Hallowe'en sweets

For the last three years, Jimmy Kimmel has been asking parents to send in videos of themselves telling their kids that they've eaten all of the Hallowe'en sweeties.

And it never ends well - with some kids throwing the most epic of tantrums on finding out that their hard-earned trick-or-treating spoils have been 'eaten' by their no-good parents.

Of course, there's always a few saintly children who take the news with grace and goodness and forgive their mom and dad.

This year though, the reactions were extreme.

Yikes.

It is pretty mean of the parents, though. And the kids will be forever haunted by the fact that their tantrums were broadcast on national TV.

Blame Jimmy Kimmel, kids. It's his fault.

Our favourite is the little guy who deals with the news by opening all the drawers in the kitchen.

Because that will show 'em.
