A tourist on safari in Kenya has filmed incredible footage of elephants saving a calf as they cross a fast-flowing river.
After most of the herd manages to get across the Ewaso Nyiro river in the country's Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the little baby makes a desperate attempt to follow suit.
However, it loses its footing and is swept away from the clutches of one of the adults by the torrent.
Thankfully, it lodges onto the river bank on the other side so that the adult elephant can catch up with it and hold it until mammy comes along.
Once she arrives, the two of them guide the baby to safety on the other side.
Phew!
