We don’t know why this isn't more of a thing - using Snapchat to provide an insight into everyday farming practices that are probably a bit of a mystery to the rest of us.
Ross Lonergan, a Waterford student who farms in his spare time, may just have started something with his hilarious Snapchat story explaining how to spread slurry.
Ross says he gets a lot of people asking him how he does it so he decided to take us through the process step by step.
And it manages to be educational and highly amusing, thanks to Ross' inspired phrasing on how to approach the task.
"Don’t be daft, cover the shaft."
"Give her a rev to kind of assert your dominance, there."
And do not forget the tunes.
And now we know how to spread slurry! Life skill unlocked.
