This tennis court proposal is ridiculously sweet
Tennis player Michaella Krajicek had a lot to celebrate yesterday. Not only did she win her first match at the Topshelf Open in the Netherlands, she also got engaged - all on the same tennis court.
Moments after winning her match against Jana Cepelova, the Dutch tennis player was surprised by her boyfriend, fellow tennis player, Martin Emmrich.
Michaella told WTA tennis that she was completely taken aback by his unexpected appearance on-court.
"The first 10 or 15 seconds when he came on the court I thought, 'Okay, it's nice to see him, but this is strange.' But then I saw he had tears in his eyes, and I was like, 'Oh wow,' and I realized what was going to happen," she said.
" I was so focused on him the whole time I didn't hear anything he was saying."

And although public proposals are seriously brave, especially in front of a load of cameras - what if she had said no! - Emmrich was justified in thinking she'd say yes.
Michaella said she never had any doubts about the answer she'd give.
"I just knew I was for sure going to say yes. That was all I knew in that moment."
Looks like it's a 'love match' on the tennis court!
