This kid was caught rapid watching cartoons in the middle of the night - and the photo is gas

Watching cartoons was every kid's favourite thing to do - and all the better if you weren't supposed to be doing it.

Redditor piccdk snapped this photo of their son who had snuck down at 3am to watch TV and he posted with the caption:

"Caught my son watching cartoons at 3AM. He didn't expect to be found."

And it couldn't be more perfect.

We can't decide if the best part of this photo is his deer-in-the-headlights face or the arrangement of snacks - two bags of crisps AND a box of cereal.

This kid knows how to live.
