Everyone's favourite little one-eyed yellow creatures are getting their own film.

The trailer for the Minions movie is here

They were everyone's favourite part of the 'Despicable Me' movies and now they're starring in their very own feature-length film.

It's the Minions movie!

Judging from the trailer, we're going to find a lot more about where the little guys came from but the story will focus on three minions - Kevin, Stuart and Bob as they go in search of a villain to call their own, arriving in New York at the tail-end of the Swinging Sixties.

While we're slightly concerned about their ability to carry an entire film, the movie also boasts an impressive voice cast - Jon Hamm, Sandra Bullock, Michael Keaton and Steve Coogan to name a few.

It won't be out until July 2015 so we'll just have to keep rewatching the trailer to keep us going until then.
