The new Old Spice ad is quite frankly, weird

It's called 'Mom Song'. And it's weird and creepy.

Old Spice.

They have a history of making great ads.

Who can forget The Mark of Man (yes, the one with that music).

Or The Man Your Man Could Smell Like?

And of course there's the ones with Terry Crews?

But this new one?

Frankly, we're not sure.

Are they trying to sell the bloody stuff or turn us off it altogether?

We're not the only ones. Judging by this small selection of comments on their Facebook page, it's not exactly going down a storm with consumers.

Commenting on the controversial ad, Old Spice said:

"Did you know the tears from just one mom whose son starts wearing Old Spice Re-Fresh body sprays could fill an Olympic-sized hot tub that’s also filled with bikini models who are also massage therapists?"

Um… Ok then.
