Now THAT's how to quit your job

Thinking of jacking in your job? Here's how to do it in style. With video. And dancing. And funny.

Now THAT's how to quit your job

So maybe there comes a day when you feel a little disillusioned about your job.

Scratch that - so maybe there comes one morning at 4.30am when you find yourself alone in the office, working at a role that has consumed every fibre of your being for two damn years and you think ENOUGH.

Well that's exactly what happened to one Marina V Shifrin, who decided to let her boss know she quit in the most innovative way she could think of - through the medium of interpretive dance, set to the soundtrack of Kanye West's 'Gone'.

You've guessed it - the clip's now gone viral with over 4.5m YouTube views.

And here's the kicker - the job Marina was quitting is one making viral videos. Go figure.

"For almost two years I've sacrificed my relationships, time and energy for this job," she wrote.

"And my boss only cares about quantity and how many views each video gets. So I figured I'd make ONE video of my own."

That's certainly what you call going out with a bang - or a twerk, for that matter - but something tells us that Marina will be alright.

There are plenty of prospective employers waiting in the wings to snap her up for her viral smarts, if not for her dancing ability (a six for effort, and that's being generous).

Yep, it can be tough going down the internet mines *knowing look*.

We hear you, sister. Godspeed.
