New mugshot hunk gets internet hot and bothered

Remember Jeremy Meeks? The ridiculously good-looking felon whose mugshot went viral during the summer, and who eventually signed with a Hollywood agent?

Well step aside Jeremy, because America has a new favourite criminal. His name is Sean Koryk, he was arrested last Friday night in Santa Cruze, California, and this is the mugshot released by the Santa Cruz Police Department that has the internet collectively fanning itself and asking "is it hot in here or is it just me?"

Police said the 29-year-old Santa Cruz resident was arrested Friday last during the city's Halloween parade after he allegedly attacked a reveller who was dressed as a Fox News reporter.

Now unfortunately we don't seem to be able to find any video of the actual incident, so you'll have to use your imagination for the next bit.

"The suspect attacked the victim telling him he “hates Fox News”," police said.

And that wasn't even the worst of it.

"The suspect grabbed the victim’s microphone and placed down the front of his pants and proceeded to rub the microphone on his crotch.

"The suspect then attacked the victim with an aluminum tennis racquet."

The victim reported the attack to police, who tracked Kory down and arrested him. He wasn't hard to find, according to CBS local news, seeing as he was "dressed as a female tennis player".

(Don't hate the player, hate the game)

Ahem. Naturally the internet has been quick to jump on "Hot Mugshot Guy #2", with some even going so far as to say he's an improvement on the original

We'll leave it up to your good selves to judge. And in the immortal words of, who'd you rather? Sean or Jeremy?

And finally…

We can't let this go without reporting another gem picked up from Friday night's Santa Cruz Police Deparment report.

It seems that Sean wasn't the only one getting himself into trouble…
