In news that will surprise no one, a man wearing an " I have drugs" t-shirt was arrested by police - and found to have drugs in his possession.
In full, the t-shirt reads "Who needs drugs?" with the smaller message "No, seriously, I have drugs" printed underneath.
And it wasn't lying, either.
According to an arrest report, John Balmer, 50, was standing in the check-out line of a supermarket in Hudson, Florida when a police officer walked in. Spooked, he tried to pass a "bag of green leafy substance" to the person behind him. That smart person refused to take it.
Store workers then told the police officers about the bag and Balmer was arrested. The bag was found to contain marijuana and methamphetamine.
Oh, John.
Next time, wear a t-shirt that says "I DON'T HAVE DRUGS". Maybe that will work out better?
