Irish people give American snacks a try, it really doesn’t go well
Having already seen Americans give Irish food a try, you could have guessed it wasn’t going to go well the other way around.
First on the menu were Twinkies, a classic all-American treat.
Well our guys were less than impressed by the snack describing it of smelling like “gone off cake” and even taking the packaging to task.
Kool Aid is next and you can just see the disgust spread across our fellow countryman’s face as he takes a sip. We are impressed with how he skilfully avoids using a swear word after tasting.
The instructions also draw the ire of the subjects as they realise you have to add a whole of sugar to Kool Aid in order to make it correctly.
Froot (not Fruit) Loops and Twizzlers pretty much get the same kind of negative reception, but worst of all is the Tootsie Roll.
The mere sight of the ‘treat’ seems to turn the stomachs of all involved.
Yuck!
It’s is clear that there is no ‘hunger’ for any of these to visit Irish shores anytime soon.
