Oh, the power of the internet...
We all remember the chilling yet captivating gaze of the "Hot Felon" - the man who managed to capture the hearts of women (and some men) across the world from his cell in San Joaquin County Jail where he is being held on weapons and gang-related charges.
Jeremy Meeks' surprisingly well-lit mugshot went viral with many saying he "was too good looking for jail" and that he should go into modelling instead.
Well it's happening.
Meeks has been signed by a Hollywood talent agent who has represented such luminaries as 'Teen Mom' Farrah Abraham and Nadya Suleman, she of octuplets fame. Gina Rodriguez told Fox News that she wants to help Meeks turn his life around by getting him modelling gigs and onto reality shows.
"Everyone is reporting on how he’s a criminal, and he doesn’t deserve [fame], and he’s got this past gang affiliation, but that’s just it — that’s the key word, that’s his past,” said Gina.
“I think that if he has a chance to have an amazing career, and change his life for his family, that’s the ultimate rags-to-riches story.”
That's great and everything but there is still one
problem - he's still in jail and is being held on $1.1 million bail.So that might get in the way.
