‘Hey Google’: Here are some of the most asked questions in Ireland around Coronavirus

Life during the Covid-19 pandemic has been and will continue to be, full of questions.

“How can I” “What is” and “When will” questions are asked in Irish households daily and for many of those questions, people are turning to the internet and, by extension, to Google.

Google is the world’s dominant search engine, answering about 90 percent of the world’s online queries - which explains the phrase ‘google it’.

The GoogleTrends team in Ireland has pulled together some of the most googled questions Irish people have had following the government’s Covid-19 National Action Plan.

Turns out, a large majority of the country have been wondering how to make face masks and tutorials on hair cutting, which makes sense when you see the number one most asked ‘when will’ question.

We've also been asking a lot of questions about TV series Normal People, whilst waiting for government announcements.
