Here are the 12 toys all the kids want this Christmas

Lots of Frozen stuff. And dinosaurs.

Here are the 12 toys all the kids want this Christmas

We can already sense the panic in the aisles of Smyths as parents fight each for the last Elsa doll on the island of Ireland.

Elsa (from Frozen, duh) is just one of the 12 hottest toys this festive season - according to the Toy Retailers Association anyway.

This ‘Dream Dozen’ list was drawn up by a panel of toy experts no less, at this years Dream Toys event over in the UK and they promise it is the most accurate list available.

1. Boomer Dino (€130)

Boomer is a dinosaur - on wheels. That will come in handy when you want to chase your parents around until one of them trips over it. He also roars so he'll probably scare the cat as well.

2. Bop It Beats (€29)

A cool, modern version of the popular Bop It toy. This one comes with music from the kids' favourites Avicii and Nicki Minaj!

3. Frozen Snow Glow Elsa (€45)

And here she is, in all her glowy, icy wonder.

4. Lego Benny’s Spaceship (€105)

You might recognise this from the amazing Lego movie. Everything is awesome about this.

5. Little Live Pets Birdcage (€25)

Instead of getting a real pet for your little darlings (too much effort) just get these instead. It's the same, right?

6. Kiddizoom Smart Watch (€50)

This watch takes photos, videos, has different games and records your voice.

It also tells time. Presumably.

7. Frozen Sparkle Dolls ( €21)

More Frozen. Of course. Get all the dolls and you and your kids can recreate the movie (and songs) together in your home, everyday for the rest of your lives.

8. Minecraft Figures (€10)

Based on the hugely popular online game, now you can also play Minecraft in real life with these fully moveable figures.

9. My Friend Cayla (€75)

The world’s first ‘live’ interactive doll. Not creepy at all.

10. Nerf N-Strike Elite Demolisher 2-in-1 (€59)

This toy gun fires two types of ammo. Handy! We can't imagine this would get annoying at all.

11. Toot-Toot Animals Safari Park (€50)

Bring the zoo inside to the safety of your own home with this indoor safari park. It even makes the noises for you but feel free to add your own.

12. Transformers Stomp and Chomp Grimlock (€115)

Another dinosaur but this one looks waaay scarier. He has a chomping jaw and light-up eyes so at least you'll see him coming when he chomps down on your finger.

You have 49 days. Go!
