Much to his - and everyone else's - disbelief.

Heckler sinks shot that Rory McIlroy couldn’t during Ryder Cup practice round

Today is the first day of the Ryder Cup but the fun got started yesterday,

On Thursday morning, during a practice round, Rory McIlroy and Andy Sullivan were having a bit of trouble with a difficult putt on the 6th green. And they weren't being helped along by a heckler in the crowd.

So Henrik Stenson decided to get the guy, a David Johnson of North Dakota, to put his money where his mouth is and pulled him from the crowd.

Justin Rose laid down a hundred dollar bill and Johnson tried to sink the shot that McIllroy and Sullivan couldn't.

He actually did it… he'll be dining out on that moment for years.

Rory seemed to take it in good spirits, anyway.

One for the books.
