Daisy Ridley recalls pulling pints for the Star Wars wrap party in Kerry

Star Wars star Daisy Ridley spoke about her time behind the bar of a Kerry pub during the wrap party for The Force Awakens, writes Denise O'Donoghue.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Ridley said she pitched in when the queue for drinks started getting longer.

"There was a big queue, and I was like, 'hey guys, can I get back there?' And I did, and it was fantastic," she said.

Fallon asked if she knows how to pour a pint of Guinness.

"Oh yeah, I can do it all," she said.

She revealed she worked in two pubs in London before she was cast in The Force Awakens.

The wrap party took place in May 2016 at Foxy John’s in Dingle.

With The Last Jedi being released next month, director Rian Johnson has also been chatting about filming.

He took part in a live Q&A earlier this week, and said his favourite filming location for the movie was Ireland, beating Iceland and Croatia.

"We shot in some amazing locations. We were in Croatia, we did some shooting in Iceland but I think my favourite spot to be was Ireland," he said.

"We had such a good time there and all the folks who lived where we were shooting just welcomed us with open arms and the local crew was so cool.

"I love Ireland."

Star Wars: The Last Jedi was filmed in Donegal, Kerry and West Cork.
