A café in Cork city is bringing back a seasonal favourite - the Easter egg hot chocolate.
Union Grind started serving the unique drink three years ago and videos of hot liquid being poured into melting chocolate eggs instantly went viral on social media.
Today, the café on Union Quay revealed the popular drink will be returning on Monday for the Easter period.
This will probably tempt anyone who gave up chocolate for Lent, which started today.
The beverage is created by pouring hot chocolate into a chocolate Easter egg housed within a cup. The egg is then topped with cream and marshmallows.
There is a brief wait before the inevitable moment of satisfaction: the bottom of the egg melting and the liquid dropping into the cup.
It is the stuff of dreams.
The good folk at Union Grind also offered a similar concept at Christmas, but instead of an egg, the drink was served within a chocolate reindeer.
Delicious.
