Comedian takes Ireland’s failure at Eurovision to task with brilliant parody song
As we know, Ireland has fallen on tough times when it comes to the Eurovision Song Contest.
While we’ve still won the most Eurovisions in history (seven), Ireland have not won the competition since Eimear Quinn’s effort ‘The Voice’ scored victory in 1996.

Yet another failure at the song contest prompted Amsterdam-based Irish comedian Richy Sheehy to pen a classic parody song - all to the tune of Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan’s 1994 winning entry ‘Rock 'n' Roll Kids’.
Watch out for an epic Father Ted reference.
With a performance like that maybe we should send Richy to Kiev for Eurovision 2017.
