Scorching temperatures and dry winds have led to fast-moving wildfires raging across southern California. Thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes and authorities have declared a state of emergency. In one town, 30 buildings were burned to the ground.
So what do people do when there’s a natural disaster and imminent danger? Take a selfie, of course.
One guy was filmed taking a selfie during a live TV broadcast warning people about the dangers of going too near the fires. The news reporters were not impressed.
