Despite being only halfway through August, we're being encouraged to get in the festive spirit already.
Brown Thomas will officially open it's Christmas store today.
Festive gifts will be available at shops in Dublin, Cork and Limerick giving shoppers more than enough time to get their Christmas presents.
And in case you didn't know, there are 132 days until Christmas.
Make of that what you will.
David Fitzsimons of Retail Excellence Ireland said Brown Thomas is right to seize the day.
"If Brown Thomas weren't selling Christmas stock and decorations today, customers would be going online and probably buying them across Europe and the UK," he said.
"Christmas is huge, it's worth around €12bn a year so obviously are stealing a march on everyone else and getting in there and making some money so fair play to them."
