Brewery takes swipe at Russia's anti-gay laws with anti-Putin beer

British beermakers come up with a special ale just in time for the Winter Olympics at Sochi.

Brewery takes swipe at Russia's anti-gay laws with anti-Putin beer

Look like these fellas? Then this is the beer for you, according to Brew Dog.

The independent brewers launched the ale in protest at Russia's "sick, twisted legislation" against gay people and half of the proceeds will go to "charitable organisations that support like minded individuals wishing to express themselves freely without prejudice".

Called 'Hello, my name is Vladimir', the beverage is "for uber hetero men who ride horses while topless and carrying knives".

Most notably, the firm says it is "not for gays".

A slab's on its way to the Kremlin for Vladimir, just in case.

If you want one, you can buy it here and tweet about it with the hashtag #NotForGays.
