Stephen Colbert's comedy news show had a special guest last night, when the President of the United States stopped by and took over a comedy segment.
Barack Obama completely "missed" his cue to come out on stage, interrupting Colbert mid-flow and taking his chair to deliver Colbert's lines.
"I, Stephen Colbert, have never cared for our president … the guy is so arrogant, I bet he talks about himself in the third person."
'Young people don't watch real news shows like this one' Obama said, to which his teleprompter added: 'Or fake ones like Fox'.
Obama showed his humorous side, taking a crack at his rapid ageing and er, less-than-ideal rollout of his Obamacare health program.
The Colbert Report, famous for its political satire, is coming to a close as Colbert prepares to take over from the retiring David Letterman on the Late Show in 2015. But if last night's show is anything to go by, it's ending strong.
