SFA: Increase in spending would threaten economic success
The Small Firms Association says an increase in public expenditure would put an end to the recent economic success.
The association’s Autumn Economic Statement warns spending on health and other public services would lead to increased taxation and higher unemployment.
It is calling on the new Minister for Finance to follow the current economic policy when he or she is appointed.
The SFA director, Pat Delaney, says the Government must resist pressure to loosen its purse strings.
