Renua has said its proposals on SMEs and the self-employed would be red-line issues for them in Government.
The party has unveiled its policies for small business, which it says encourage and support the sector through tax reforms.
Last night, leader of Renua Lucinda Creighton went head-to-head with six other leaders of political parties, including the Social Democrats.
However, Lucinda Creighton branded the Social Democrats' policies on small businesses disingenuous, saying: "I heard the Social Democrats say last night that they want to back Irish business, but frankly it is disingenuous…They have no proposals to change capital gains tax. They don’t understand business.
"(They) have no plans to change social welfare protections for the self-employed if their business goes bust. We're the only party that's making these things a priority."
