Online gaming leads to profits boost for Paddy Power
Bookmaker Paddy Power has seen a rise in profits thanks to online gaming.
The company says profits in the first six months of the year rose 12% to €77m.
The total amount of bets staked with Paddy Power also rose 3% to €3bn
Paddy Power says most of the profits were generated online and in Australia, where it has expanded in the last couple of years.
