Google boss says future is in personal information
The head of Google has said the company's future will rely on storing more personal information about its users.
Eric Schmidt is warning people may still not be aware of the consequences of everything "being available, knowable and recorded all the time".
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he said the data Google collects means they know roughly who you are, what you care about and who your friends are.
He suggested this may even help Google tell users what they should be doing next, and in the future, searches could be done on their behalf, without the need to type in search terms.
