Five investors have expressed interest in troubled howeware chain B&Q Ireland Limited.
The Commercial Court has appointed Declan McDonald as examiner to the DIY business which has nine stores nationwide employing 690 people on a full and part time basis.
Two of those stores - in Athlone and Waterford - are to close.
