Employers' groups and trade unions are meeting in Dublin today to discuss ways to introduce greater flexibility for Irish workers.
The seminar has been arranged to coincide with Work-Life Balance Day, which is designed to promote workplace policies that give employees more free time.
Speaking ahead of the talks, IBEC director Tadhg O'Sullivan said: "If we can get the balance right and we can get policies that ensure that the employee and the employer wins, then I think it's wise that we should pursue these policies."
