The Commercial Court has given Anglo Irish Bank more time to show why certain bank documents should not be disclosed in an action against its former chief executive.
The nationalised lender is trying to recover €8.3m euro in unpaid loans from David Drumm who now resides in the United States.
The bank is claiming certain documents relating to directors' loans are privileged because they were prepared for five regulatory investigations into its affairs and that these probes may result in litigation.
