Scandinavian airline SAS is to open new routes from Stockholm to Ireland and Scotland in March.
Six flights a week to Edinburgh and Dublin will start on March 28.
Scandinavian Airlines Systems – the joint carrier of Sweden, Denmark and Norway – has recently cut fares by up to 20%.
The reductions are part of its bid to confront competition in domestic markets from low-cost airlines like Ryanair, which has a hub in Sweden, as well as other carriers.
