The proposed sale of the State's shareholding in Aer Lingus will be on the agenda at a meeting of the Impact trade union today.
The group believes the airline should remain in state ownership, citing concerns over jobs, business and tourism.
Impact is holding two conferences in Galway this week, with a final joint convention on Friday.
Many issues are on the agenda, including pay recovery, the moratorium on recruitment in the public service, the proposed amalgamation of library services and others.
The union's communications executive Helena Clarke said for the union's services and enterprises division, the ownership of Aer Lingus is a big issue.
