World's best job? Travel company advertises for waterslide tester
A travel company is advertising for a waterslide tester.
First Choice has listed the job, which will require the successful candidate to visit the organisation's Splashworld water parks in North Africa and across Europe where they will rate the waterslides.
The listing states: "Had your fill of 9 to 5? After a job that's a little less 'yawn' and a little more 'yeeaaahhh'? Well, we've got something that'll be right up your street.
"It's a job where 'going to work' means donning your swimming gear and hurtling down waterslides. Yep, we're looking for a Slide Tester who'll test our waterparks for a living. (sic)"
The waterslide tester wannabes will be whittled down to a five final who will then compete against each other for the job at a SplashWorld resort.
